As we reflect on the past year at Franklin County Humane Society, we are filled with gratitude for your unwavering support. Your compassion has been the driving force behind our mission, allowing us to provide care, comfort, and second chances to thousands of orphaned pets.

This year, however, has brought significant challenges. Rising costs for food and veterinary care, coupled with economic uncertainty affecting donations, have stretched our resources thin. Yet, our dedication to rescuing animals and finding them loving homes remains steadfast.

Thanks to your generosity, 2024 has been a year of hope and milestones:

  • 874 Adoptions (566 cats and 308 dogs)
  • 79 Lost Pets Reunited with their families
  • 707 Babies Cared for in our nursery (491 kittens and 216 puppies)

We’re proud to share that FCHS is now officially a no-kill shelter, with over 90% of the animals in our care finding homes or being reunited with their owners. The only exceptions are those facing untreatable medical or behavioral challenges.

Every donation, no matter the size, helps us move closer to our goal: giving every pet a chance at a happy, healthy life.

Please support our mission by donating today. You can use the enclosed donation card and envelope, visit fchsmo.org or donate on this page.

Your kindness and commitment make all the difference. Together, we can overcome these challenges and ensure every animal gets the care they deserve. Thank you for being a part of our journey!
